Line 10 on the 1040 Form got your business clients a big deduction on their net income. That same line 10 can keep your client’s business profitable and also get your firm more business clients. Here’s how. We are looking for more business owners in your area to become members; to strengthen the voice of small business, right in your community, to make the politicians pay attention to your clients and their needs as a small business owner.



Below is a two sided handout for you to make copies and give to your clients. You don’t have to say anything except that they should check out NFIB and become a member if they want to. Let them know that you (and NFIB) are working hard to keep them profitable.

When I’m in an area seeing current and prospective members, I always try to recommend other professionals which could be of service. I would like to enroll you as a member if you are not already a member. As a member you’ll be able to keep abreast of important issues which affect small business. You’ll personally be able to vote the ballots so you’ll know first hand what your clients will receive as a member!

Mail your enrollment fee to my address or call me and I can process your payment over the phone. You’ll get an email within minutes from the home office in Nashville after I process your form. Then visit my web page to request pdf copies of both sides of the handout to print and give to your clients or simply leave in your office for them to pick up. To me NFIB membership is essential for any business person to learn about the issues, take as little time as he or she wants to invest in voting on them and then go about their business with the peace of mind that NFIB is working on their behalf. NFIB membership dues is whatever the business owners feel they can afford (up to $15K). It's more important to have a member than a dues which would hinder membership by very small businesses.
