Ter Scott of Ask LLC introduces new program to Celebrate Small Business in Northern Wisconsin

 

Location Celebration of Small Business

What is it?

Every week North Wisconsin Small Biz celebrates a northern Wisconsin location and up to 20 businesses (first come first serve basis) in that location. We present a post listing your business (with 19 others) which is linked to your business Facebook page.  

Viewers are asked to click on your link, go to your page and “Like” it. This creates more traffic to your Facebook page where you can offer them ads and information. They are also asked to like the post, comment, tag one person and share. This exponentially increases traffic overall. Each week we’ll randomly choose a winner who will then personally visit your place of business (and the other 19) to collect their prize; something you’ll commit to giving to the winner priced from $10 to $20 retail. Many businesses offer gift certificates to make this easier.

What do you do as a business?

First, you’ll need to have or create a Facebook page for your business. (We'll need that to link to your business name as listed in the post). 

You’ll then need to request that your business to be listed on our Celebration post; we offer this to businesses in the celebrated location for free. This is limited to 20 businesses so be sure to apply quickly as we release the location. We also reserve the right to refuse any business.  

Be sure to “Follow by Email” (on this page) so you’ll see the updates and when we’ll be celebrating your area again. This is also where you’ll see the “winner” so you can place the news on your business Facebook page and know who to give the prize to. What do you do as a participant?

As a participant your job is to have fun and spread the word. Your community’s strength is based on the strength of your local businesses. Shop local and this is one way to do it!

Visit this page frequently to know when your area or an area near you is being celebrated. 

We will post a list of your local businesses; simply follow the instructions in the post. You’ll be asked to “Like” our Facebook page, North Wisconsin Small Business. Then you’ll be asked to like the post, go to all 20 business Facebook pages and like their page (it’s limited to 20 businesses so it won’t take long), comment and tag at least one person in your comment and share. That’s it. What do you get from doing this? The winner will personally go to each of the 20 business places and collect something valued from $10 to $20 retail. That equates to up to $400 in prizes!

NOTE: Winner will be announced on each individual business Facebook page and will have up to 2 weeks to visit the business and claim your prize. Businesses have the right to substitute the said prize for something of equal value if the item becomes unavailable.
