Open Letter to all business owners in Wisconsin and Minnesota... 2020 can be your year!

The following is my letter to all NFIB members; and also any business owner in general, regardless of what state you reside. If you are not currently an NFIB member or you know of a business owner who would like more information, there are links below. Also, we are looking for qualified individuals to visit business owners in their area. The income potential is very lucrative and the cause for small business is most urgent. There is also a link below to inquire or you can certainly contact me by using the contact form somewhere on this page.

Good day, and a very prosperous and successful new year to you and yours.

Terry Scott, your NFIB rep here with a brief but important message.

NFIB has accomplished some big things the past few years.  We stood up and fought for tax cuts for small businesses and achieved a big win for our members.  And we celebrated 75 years of fighting for small business - reminding our members and policy makers of the importance of small business and the clout of NFIB.

We face some big challenges going forward and some big opportunities.  Our number one business priority is to grow our membership back to 300,000 members and beyond.  To succeed, we need the help of every one of our NFIB members. 2020 will be a pivotal year for small business, Free Enterprise and really, our great country. Our kids, nieces and nephews who will have businesses after us will build on what we preserve today. I truly understand that you are busy running your business. By proudly displaying your membership plaque, and your door decal, you are doing a lot in creating awareness for small business. And of course your renewal each year is vitally important and we use those membership dollars to fight hard for the issues and laws which continue to keep small business strong. If you know of a business owner which shares your concern for the future of small business, please have them contact me; regardless of what state they are located. Also, we are always seeking individuals in all areas of the USA to represent NFIB to their local businesses. If you know of one who may qualify, please have them contact me. Making America’s business great and keeping it great,  is a total team effort, and we are already seeing the positive results as we focus on achieving this goal.   

Our members desperately need their voices heard in all our state capitals and in Washington, DC.  There is no other organization that can do what we do.  NFIB was founded to fight for the forgotten business owner - the small business owner who works hard, creates jobs, and helps their community.   

And no other business organization does it the way we do.  One member, one vote - this simple concept guides all our positions and is a great reminder to policy makers that we are unique among business associations. 

Our strength is our membership.  We have real members with real stories, and that sets us apart from any other association or organization.


I’ve seen what NFIB can accomplish when we all work together, and I know we can achieve our goals and win the important battles for small business. 

Thank you for everything you do for NFIB and other business owners, many you know and do business with.

First of all, let me say this. I've always loved small business and having been in business myself for many years, I believe that there is nothing better. I encourage everyone to have some sort of business regardless if it only part time of a full fledged company employing many people.  I'm a membership rep for NFIB and am pleased to visit many business owners on a daily basis. To me NFIB membership is essential for any business person to learn about the issues, take as little time as he or she wants to invest in voting on them and then go about their business with the peace of mind that NFIB is working on their behalf. NFIB membership dues is whatever the business owners feel they can afford (up to $15K). It's more important to have a member than a dues which would hinder membership by very small businesses. Ter Scott of Ask LLC introduces new program to Celebrate Small Business in Northern Wisconsin

  Location Celebration of Small Business What is it? Every week North Wisconsin Small Biz celebrates a northern Wisconsin location and up to 20 businesses (first come first serve basis) in that location. We present a post listing your business (with 19 others) which is linked to your business Facebook page.   Viewers are asked to click on your link, go to your page and “Like” it. This creates more traffic to your Facebook page where you can offer them ads and information. They are also asked to like the post, comment, tag one person and share. This exponentially increases traffic overall.
