Open Letter to Anyone with a One Person Business in Wisconsin
This is a message I send to people who I have found their business card. Dropping off and pinning business cards to a bulletin board somewhere is a sure sign that they are "looking" for more business and with what I offer, I can help. I've been involved in the marketing of small businesses for year's and that never ends. I love helping people and especially those who have started their own businesses.
Now as the NFIB membership rep, I come across business cards where ever I go and this is my "open letter" to anyone with a business, a small one or two people business all the way up to 500!

I found your business card!
Hello. My name is Terry Scott and I found your business card when I was in your area recently. I’m working with businesses in your area on laws and issues which will directly impact your business. We need your input.
I’m the area’s membership rep for NFIB. If you haven’t heard of NFIB, they’ve been around as the “Voice of Small Business” for over 75 years. Perhaps you’ve seen decals on your local business doors. Anyway, I wanted to reach out to you because you own a business and you have the right to be heard and the privileges and benefits which come with an NFIB membership, even if you are a “one person shop”. Do you represent an MLM or a very, very “small” business of any type? You might be surprised that just by having a business of any size that you can now have certain benefits unknown and unavailable to the “W-2er”.
When you have a moment, please "like" my Facebook page and see all of the “extras” that I do to promote local business in the northernmost 8 Wisconsin counties that I cover. And, I hope you’ll consider becoming a member of NFIB and join your local businesses in supporting the cause for local small business and for your community.
By all means, visit www.NFIB.com and see all of the wealth of things available to you right now as a non-member. But please, do not join at the site; it will be counted as a “donation”. Call me and I will go through the membership options to find the right one for you.

Make it a great day!
